Conveniently via the A8 freeway coming from Munich or via the A10 Vienna-Villach freeway. Leave the highway at the exit Piding-Bad Reichenhall and stay on the federal road B 20 in the direction of Bischofswiesen – Berchtesgaden. From the highway exit it is about 20 kilometers to the center of Berchtesgaden.

You will find spacious parking garages directly at the AlpenCongress (2 minutes walk to the “Berchtesgadener Advent”).

There are only a few bus parking spaces directly in the center of Berchtesgaden: At the AlpenCongress (Maximilianstraße 9, 83471 Berchtesgaden) and in front of the Luitpoldpark (Von-Hindenburg-Allee, 83471 Berchtesgaden) – each a two to five minute walk to the Berchtesgaden Advent. Somewhat below the center, on the Salinenplatz behind the Berchtesgaden main station, there are sufficient bus parking spaces available: Salinenplatz, 83471 Berchtesgaden – five to ten minutes walk to the Berchtesgaden Advent.

For our Austrian guests we recommend the highway exit Grödig-Berchtesgaden (Salzburg Süd). Further on the federal road B 305 it is only about 20 km to the center of Berchtesgaden.

You take the train to the “Berchtesgaden main station” (terminus). Directly from the station area the local line goes to the “Berchtesgadener Advent”. By foot it takes about 10 minutes, alternatively we recommend to take a cab to the “Berchtesgadener Advent”.

You land at Salzburg Airport (about 20 km away from Berchtesgaden). From there you can always get to Berchtesgaden by bus or train. Munich airport is about 180 km away from Berchtesgaden.
